Scott Reed, AES-CES Communications and Marketing Committee Co-Chair, will facilitate the session designed to answer questions about the goals and expected outcomes of this project managed by ESCOP and ECOP. The contractor, kglobal, is preparing an overview slide set which will be distributed next week in the ECOP Monday Minute. Daryl Buchholz, ECOP Chair; Darren Katz, kglobal, and Hunt Shipman, Cornerstone Government Affairs, will be featured on the call. Due to the nature of the information, the teleconference will not be recorded.
NEDA 2013 Update -- The National Extension Directors and Administrators meeting will be held March 18-20, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio. Registration and hotel reservation information is coming soon and will be sent directly through the events management system at APLU. The following dates and times are offered for travel planning purposes. Please note there are three separate meetings, all held at the Hyatt Regency.

National Energy Extension Summit -- State Energy Extension Partnerships will be a feature of the National Energy Extension Summit in Fort Collins, CO April 29-May 1, 2013. USDA Beginning Farmers and Ranchers Advisory Committee Nominations -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking nominations until January 16, 2013 for two-year membership terms on the Beginning Farmers and Ranchers Advisory Committee. This Committee advises the Secretary of Agriculture on matters broadly affecting new farmers and ranchers. Nomination packages should include a nomination form along with a cover letter or resume that documents the nominee’s background and experience.
