AFRI Education and Workforce Development RFP - AFRI Education and Workforce Development (EWD) funding focuses on developing the next generation of research, education, and extension professionals in the food and agricultural sciences. Increasing Food Security for Military Families - OneOp is mobilizing family service professionals at federal, state, and local levels to focus on expanding food security for military family populations throughout the country with the 2023 Military Family Readiness Academy (MFRAcademy) call to action for Military Families and Food Security. An estimated 24% of our nation’s active-duty service members and their families are food insecure. Extension educators can help! The 2023 MFRAcademy is a multidisciplinary approach to alleviating food insecurity needs within the military family community. Please share this opportunity widely during the month of May when many states and non-profit organizations are celebrating National Military Appreciation Month.
